found a local ad for this one at a good price. I wonder what model year that is. Did some research but find it quite hard to figure out what it is. Only hint I found is that from 2009 both pedals are made from aluminium…
Given that this is an older model and I dont mind tinkering on bikes, how is general compability between old frames/newer parts?

This should be an M6R circa 2007 or earlier. There’s no rear frame clip. You should ask for the serial number label if it is still there.
That’s almost an antique, most of the new Brompton parts will however without any problem.
