Silver Strand Bike Ride – June 8, 2025

Four biking buddies set out for another great ride, soaking up the camaraderie and the stunning Southern California coastline. We kicked things off at the Silver Strand bike path trailhead near Swiss Park in Chula Vista, cruising south toward Imperial Beach and then up to Coronado Landing Park.
On the return trip, a quick pit stop at Coronado Cays’ Calypso Café was in order—Eric had a flat, but luckily he came prepared with a spare tube. In no time, we were rolling again.
We paused for lunch at Novo Brazil Brewing in Imperial Beach, perfectly situated along the trail with outdoor seating and beautiful bay views. Just as we sat down, the sun made a cheerful appearance.
With only about a mile left, we wrapped up our 25-mile round-trip ride feeling grateful for the company, the weather, and the unforgettable scenery.
The video was captured using a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 with a built-in gimbal, shot in 4K at 30 frames per second (3840 × 2160 resolution) and mounted on a Insta360 3m 9.8ft Extended Edition Selfie Stick. Post production editing done with DaVinci Resolve Studio Version 20.
