Went on a evening ride last night now that it’s cooling down, our roads are at best like driving off road in the Mojave desert. Well I got a flat, fixed it with ease and not two miles later I found a pot hole and my [tube can not be patched](https://i.imgur.com/a3jo9O8.jpg), I put my spare tube on the wheel and made it home. I’ve ordered new tubes and patch kits but they wont be here till 25 oct so no rides till then.

Wth your local bike shop doesn’t have tubes or patch kits? That’s wild, never had to wait to get either before.
I always keep a spare in backpack, also fortunate there’s plenty of bus routes that go the same way as my commute so if all else fails I have that as an option. But certainly good advice for those who don’t.
