Not only was the relegation a good call, Brennan should have been given the win. unimpeded, he would have won that sprint.
Class interview by Warenskjold imo. Credits Van Poppel for his strength while not hiding the fact he thinks it was still the right decision. Pogacar is in the wrong imo. Not the most problematic move by Van Poppel but you can't shut the door this agressively imo. It nearly crashed 15 riders.
Yep, dirty AF, learn to sprint buddy.
Lol y'all need to chill out. Pogi said that if Van Poppel got relegated then a couple of other guys should have as well. Doesn't mean that he said Van Poppel's move wasn't worthy of relegation in and of itself. Bet none of y'all actually read what he said yet are hating here because of Broe's commentary.
If Brennan didnt stop, it wouldve caused a big crash, i think thats enough reason for poppel relegation…
The real issue is that the finish area is way to tight and not really straight. How can such dangerous course setting be allowed?
There willl always be debatable decision.
Cav was relegated , in incident with Thor Hushovd. He should have one extra green jersey
Relegation was the correct call.
I don't know why this is even up to discussion
van Poppel riding dirty as usual.
van Poppel really isn't learning huh. He seems to get a yellow card every major race were he sprints for victory. With some I found them questionable but this relegation is definetly deserved.
if only the tdf stewards adhered to the rules like this. they always let jasper phillipsen get away with way too much.
this is textbook relegation, hard to make a case for Van Poppel.
Those are some nice looking roads in Germany. 🇩🇪
Brennan should have one. Only 8th. Sad story
justified relegation
Isn't van Poppel habitually deviating and getting relegated? You'd think he was smart enough to change his ways. Start docking points from the team if he can't figure it out alone.
is pog stupid? thats the clearest relegation ever just look at the lines on the road. or is this just hating on visma?
Next level strats from Tadej, trying to call out relegations so their less common so his buddy Jasper the Disaster can roam free
He not only crossed him but also created a dangerous situation. Sprinters need to keep on a straight line and not cut others off, especially when the road is flat and straight.
Too much Dopacar = brain malfunction
Deserved relegation. And what you and Benji said on the podcast is true. There needs to be harsher punishments for endangering riders, look at how close Brennan and Warenskjold got because of Van Poppel. Absolutely dangerous and deserving of harsher punishment.
You have to stick to your line, simple as that. Just the first move could be debatable, did pogi turn the tv of there?
Love Danny, underrated sprinter but he clearly has some issues following rules and this relegation was fair.
Van Poppel is a disaster. Fast but dangerous. The UCI have to relegate that behaviour.
Commisaires made the right call.
"He was the strongest one but didn't keep the line" perfectly said from Wærenskjold and obvious relegation.
I really can't understand Pogi's complaints
Fair decision.
How was the relegation in the slightest bit controversial
He clearly was blocking and coming across. He touched the median and immediately moved 2 meters to the left (not a little move at all). Then he saw the green jersey and came full across the road. Pretty obvious what happened really. It's dangerous and unsportsmanlike
Søren been impressive and aggressive all tour, cant wait for some hungry sprinters tomorrow. Lets hope no crash
That's a relegation all day long
Right decision, VP was all over the road…just glad he didn’t cause a big mess, at that speed it hurts
Good DQ!
So why wasn't the Uno rider dq, too. He clearly moves to the right and bumps into Brennan? They both closed the door for Brennon.
I think relegations make sense that if they helps to reduce the number of crashes>injuries
