Glad to hear at least part of the company will live on. I hope they continue to produce the best cogs in the business.

The only thing that would “make me happy” here is if some fanboy bought the company and ran it for the love of cog, kept all the long time employees, and operated at a loss to keep prices down.
The death of authenticity/quality is ugly and losing little companies like this to larger ones who then come in and “modernize” it in an attempt to maximize profits at the cost of quality is a god damn shame. I hope that’s not what we’re about to see go down.
