Looking for a bike for my wife, she’s not an avid cyclist, but would like to participate in some triathlons with me. Just want something solid that will last without any major issues. And of course I want the best deal!!! 😎

The TCT has Ultegra groupset. I’m assuming it’s probably 10-15years old.
I’m not sure what the Alpha has for components. Assuming it’s entry level. When I asked the seller she responded “shimano”. She’s not wrong I guess 🤷♂️
The 5000 looks alright but I’d def try to bargain down to 350 or 400 bucs.
The 5000 is carbon and it’s old carbon. Probably fine but I’m always suspect of old carbon.
The alpha has absolute bottom of the barrel components on it but it also doesn’t look like it’s been ridden much.
I think if you can talk both sellers down, whoever gives you the better deal will be your choice. I’d say if you can talk the 5000 down to like $350-$400, it’s a good deal. If you can talk the alpha down to $250-$300 that would be a good deal.
