I have the a Trek e-bike (FX+2). The battery extender they sell is $550, plus a $50 cable.
Are there any less expensive compatible battery extenders for this bike? Quick search online didn't come up with anything that has the same plug in.

Another standard battery and just swap them is slightly cheaper per Wh.
