I think its a GT Aggressor XC2 Mountain bike frame 6061 thats atleast the closest think I found.
It’s a GT Zaskar my friend used to race one back in the day. That’s probably a late 90s version just google GT’ Zaskar and tons of them will come up.

And yes, they’re made in the great ole US of A 🇺🇸
Google Lense says Zaskar from 1997.
I’d tend to agree, but only ever saw a few of them in person.
That’s a sick frame, though you need to polish that boy up and get some retro parts on there. I would love to see the build when you’re finished.
