  1. Same thing happened with my Grizl AL. Also less than 500km. And before that had the same issue with Grail AL.

This has nothing to do with the handlebar tape itself. It has everything to do with the person who wrapped it and/or your position on the bike.

You can also fix this in less than 5 minutes by re-wrapping it. Here’s a guide: [How To Change Bar Tape – Wrap Your Bars Like A Pro – YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8PqH7bltJQ&t=78s)

  3. I have the same, a little less with my endurace after 13000 km, what about posture on the bike, are you fitted well? My older 2018 endurace had no issues after 40.000 km so i would say this newer tape doesnt perform as well.

  4. Same happened to mine on my Endurance, I just bought new tape tbh, and rewrapped it myself. It doesnt cost that much. Also, I would suggest you could just rewrap with the existing tape.

Honestly, it’s just a question of it having been wrapped too lose from the factory, hence sliding. I imagine a person in the factory doing this repetitive task +100 times pr day, and maybe it was Friday and the person wanted to go on weekend 🤣

Had the same. Bought new tape after 6500 km and did it myself. Much better this time.

I never had any trouble with the Canyon Handlebar Tape. Loosening of the tape in that area is often an indicator for an incorrect bike fit as the „normal“ positions (Hoods, Drops, Tops) on your bike keep you away from this area.
If your saddle is too far back, too long stem, too long bike or your handlebar is too low you tend to grab this bend to reduce the overall length thus leading to the handlebar tape being pushed forwards. Maybe you keep that in mind and check it out. Nevertheless a rewrap should be easily possible with your current tape.
