The South City Way (SCW) is one of 4 largely segregated arterial cycle routes running out from Glasgow City Centre. It was completed in July 2023 (city section July 2024) and takes you from Trongate to the Gorbals and Laurieston, Govanhill and to Queen’s Park in just 11-12 minutes.
Recorded on Monday 18th August 2025 between 1651-1725 hours
Length: 3,021 metres (3 km / 1.9 miles)
Route: Trongate – King Street – Bridgegate – Stockwell Street – Victoria Bridge – Gorbals Street – Pollokshaws Road – Victoria Road – Queen’s Park
This is the third of four videos in which I intend to chronicle the City Ways as they are now, in Summer 2025. They show how quick and easy it is to get around by bike in the city environment, as well as reaching the major city parks for fresh air and a splash of green.
Thank you for watching.

Thanks for posting another video, always enjoy them. Cycled home the SCW southbound in rush hour one day last week and it was great to see the number of cyclists using it.
