Hello community!
I finally wrapped up this on-and-off project: a restomod based on a 1993 Specialized Rockhopper frame and fork.
I started with just the bare frame, which gave me the freedom to be creative with the build. Since I live in a mountainous region, I went with a 1×12 drivetrain – it felt like the perfect setup for the kind of terrain I ride. I also needed decent brakes (I haven't pulled the trigger on these Paul levers yet…).
This build has been a fun mix of old-school steel and modern components, and I’m pretty stoked about how it turned out.
Happy to hear your thoughts!
