Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest Bluesky Threads Hoping for a steer here on black or white? The black is a matte carbon. White is metallic white. Thanks 🙏 by pt473 Bicycling Biking Cycling Cycling Fashion Fashion
MocsFan123 on August 20, 2025 10:52 pm I’d say black since the matte carbon is probably lighter than the white (which tends to be a heavy color) but the white does look sharp. Of course it may come down to the groupset – one has Force the other Ultegra – does that make a difference to you?
Improvedandconfused on August 20, 2025 10:58 pm Why don’t you just do a couple more root canals, and then you can buy both?
marcus_aurelius420 on August 20, 2025 11:05 pm Buddy told me that white paint weighs more apparently ahaha
BD59 on August 20, 2025 11:53 pm White. I despise matte carbon frames. Looks unfinished to me. Edit: the white is Shimano di2 and the black SRAM Force? Shimano all the way baby.
NewKitchenFixtures on August 21, 2025 12:01 am Why not both so you can decide based on what kit you are wearing? Â They both look great. You could get wheels with different aero profiles between them and choose depending on wind too.

Why disguise carbon by hiding it under metallic paint?
