I have been stalking the pages of a local charity bike shop to look for an old Rockhopper to do a Clydesdale build on and when I was just getting home from school, I saw this on their website. I threw all my bike stuff into a pannier and rode like a madman to go buy this bike…
It has the State version of the Clydesdale fork (you can tell by the through axle) and has a Chris King headset, cantilever brakes on the rear, and a Schwalbe Moto X on the front. I also picked up a Surly trailer axle for it.
I feel like for $465 I got EXTREMELY lucky! 🙂

How the heck did this wind up at a charity store the state fork JUST came out. Congrats also.
That fork is 300$ alone brand new. Great score, Patients pays off!
I’ve been lusting after one of those forks but can’t justify the expense. How’s it handle? Envious!!
