Hey!
Not really sure how to formulate this in the most clear way but I recently got some new wheels from ZTTO on AliExpress. The wheels looked and felt great from the start but when my frame arrived and I installed everything I realized something was up with the hubs. When I tightened the QR skewers I felt resistance coming and this was without any crazy amount of load.
So I opened everything up and took a look and realized there was some metal on metal action on the drive side bearing. It look like it should be touching the inside of the bearing but it's actually been scratching on the outside. Also something is protruding on the outside which makes the inner part not be the one in contact with the bearing.
I know it makes no sense reading that since I don't know the parts name but pics are included. Am I supposed to get some kind of spacer to put there?
I also wanted to ask if you are supposed to file away the paint on the back dropouts if the fit is too tight? That might have also caused this because it's quite a tight fit in the rear dropouts.
Thanks in advance

What bike and what sort of brakes are you using? The wheels look like they are made for a 6 bolt disc rotor and through axles. I don’t think these would be compatible with a quick release frame.
Is your frame disc brake / through axel?
It looks like the bearing is inset too far, so the end cap can’t preload the inner race properly due to contact with the outer ring. You could take a trip to the hardware store and try to find a thrust washer with an inner dimension that’s the same as the OD of the axle to shim the gap. Stuff like this = cheap hub problems.
