  1. Considering the derailleur says Apex on it I’d be skeptical of the Force / Rival group set claim.

Otherwise it still seems like a pretty fair price to me if it’s lightly used. It’s $3,600 new but the DT Swiss wheels are a bit of an upgrade over the stock wheels.

  2. It’s a good bike and possibly not a bad price but that’s not a force/apex derailleur so i’d double check the specs.

BicycleBlueBook.com has been a useful tool for me for neutral pricing estimates. Share details with bike owner—especially if estimates are lower—to help negotiate.

  4. The used market is pretty soft right now. I’d say more like $1600. The drivetrain is an unusual mix. It looks like not a Sram flattop cassette, older crankset, AXS derailleur. It’s quite a small cassette, maybe a setup for cyclocross. For realistic gears you’d probably want to buy a wider-range cassette (which would often need a new, longer chain). So you need to figure that into the cost.

Generally I think that generation of Aspero isn’t quite the best choice, since tire clearance maxes out around 700×42. And price-wise, a brand new Lauf Seigla (with the rigid fork) is always looming in the background if there’s $2600 to spend.

  5. I would urge caution here. This bike is a mish mash of parts that did not come stock from Cervelo. It looks like a bunch of leftover parts off of bikes he stripped.

Whose jizz is on it? If they were KOMing hard it would easily be worth 10x that.
