Posted this as a comment the other day the comment got a lot of upvotes so I thought I’d post it separately again!
I designed these mounts / covers for unused canti-bosses. The left one takes a brake cable and acts as cable guide after doing a disc brake conversion like I did with my Trek 950. The right one just covers up the bare metal to prevent any rust damage.
I have some spare parts left. They are 3D printed from PA12 and dyed black. Feel free to message me if interested!
For anyone outside Europe I could also provide the CAD data for printing them at your place 🙂

Canti boss studs unscrew. Would be cool to design a flush mount version that threads into the mounting hole.
It’s a great idea, but I’m gonna play retrogrouch real quick and remind everyone properly set up cantis are wonderful
I keep telling people to keep them to attach racks but now I can add this to the argument
