If you meant clipless by clip-in than your only other option is flat. By clipless I don’t mean what you have it’s different, just Google the difference. Other than that there aren’t really pedals. You can look up magpeds, those are magnetic flat pedals.

Try some name brand nylon platform pedals like Crank Bros Stamp 1.

A) that bike is dope. B) I have been riding 50/50 pedestal/clipless pedals for years and love the flexibility of clipped or flats depending on the ride.
Get clipless, and spend a week practicing getting in and out of pedals while riding on a grass, not concrete or a trail

Modern quality flats and proper MTB Flats are solid.
SPDs are solid
I’m sure Time and Crank are solid, but I don’t have experience riding those

Yeah, clipless pedals. They’re actually safer than those ancient toe clips: they hold more securely and release more effectively

Toe clips are the worst. You’ll be looking down at your foot trying to flip it around etc and then go over the handlebars. Go flat or clipless. I use both on different bikes. You’ll get used to one of them and you’ll never look back.

Get clipless, I always liked time pedals. I found the release to be predictable and dependable. Crank brothers are similar.

I’m an old guy who had that same set up. You’ll love flats.
