Hi everyone, I’m looking into getting my first gravel bikes. I was wondering your thoughts on these two models? I’m looking into the truck checkpoint SL5 GEN three compared to the specialized diverge sport carbon. Both are entry-level carbon gravel bike. The specialized is cheaper. Please let me know your thoughts if anyone has any of these bikes.

This doesn’t answer your question, but—
At that price range, you ever considered titanium? Light, practically indestructible and smooth…

It would be easier to compare if you linked the bikes or at least provided the specs of each, because otherwise it’s hard to compare. These are very common bikes from major manufacturers, they aren’t going to have any major glaring flaws, just differences in components that might make one or the other a better value for the money.
Right off the bat based on the photos, the specialized has a 2x setup and the Trek is 1x, so decide what type of drivetrain you want.
