I found this neglected elsop from decathlon in my basement, and put some new tires on it. I was wondering what parts are advised to change to make it a good fixed gear. ( i am planning to change the tires again for the final build, i just wanted some usable tires because the stock tires suck and you get flats every turn you make.)

It would make a fine tracklocross build. And ofc you need foot retention.
Yeah looks solid. Just measure the brake caliper and run the fattest tires that’ll fit. If you’re not sure just match the size you have now. If you’re new to the style then go for cheap tires. Like wire bead gators, vittorias, etc. black sidewall. No reason to spend a premium on lightweight anything. Pedals look like they’re compatible with straps already. New saddle new grips and let it rippp
