I was under the impression those disk brake conversion kits are a death trap, how has it been? My GFs leisure bike is rim brake and was thinking of going that direction as the rear hub motor has a 6 hole disk mount but the frame doesn’t.

Nice build. Love the choice of RD (among other things). XT 770 is peak aesthetics for Shimano derailleurs, back when they had unique styling.

A 1997 Kona Koa was my first own mtb and I’m searching for that frame for years now.
That sparkly orange frame with the grey fork and Kona’s amazing graphics was the best most beautiful Bike I’ve ever seen (still remember picking it up new at the shop)
