I’d like to see more photos, like the other side of the bike in full. I don’t think the price is out of line, [$2100 New.](https://www.bicyclebluebook.com/value-guide/2024%20Cannondale%20Synapse%201/?condition=GOOD). But the hood in photo has scratches an easy fix if you want, but suggests it could have been dropped, keeping your chain in that position stretches it, is it missing a bar end cap? I’ve never ridden a leather Brooks and some swear by them (I think that one cost $220 new, so you could resell it). These aren’t dealbreakers, just something to keep in mind

  2. 1500 is too high for this. For that price you can get a better setup and way better component group. I always look at older treks as the gauge on pricing, you can get awesome ones with great frames and geometry and components for 1k +/-…Bikes that were solid mid level and up. This isn’t that. I like cannondale though. (And understand not everyone likes trek, I have a giant). Also, spend some time on geometry. This is more casual geometry, versus more aggressive faster geometry. Everyone says get your first road bike with this geo. I’m unsure. I wish I would have gone more aggressive on geometry as I was a mountain biker for years. The adjustment wasn’t hard.
