I can’t tell you anything about the specific model. It has some very nice components for it’s day, but it’s all fairly outdated.
I think it would be a great idea to fix it up, it just depends on what you expectations are. For someone who appreciates older high end components it’s great, and it will most likely still work very well. However a modern gravel or mountainbike might perform better.
