I've just taken my cassette off to change it and noticed these deep grooves in my freehub. Does it need replacing? I'm assuming yes which means yet more money 😩

I would ride it it doesn’t seem that bad, my old one looked worse. I just added lube and tightened it up to specs by torque wrench
Nah it’s fine, normal wear for aluminum hubs
Nah this normally happens, you can file them down a bit if they interfere with getting a new cassette on, but I’ve never bothered with that.
