Yo I needed a new front derailleur since the original one broke off. Anyway new cable everything works except I can't line up the trimm lines. Do I need to pull cable harder or not so much? In this photo the derailleur is in the trimm position.

I suggest downloading the manuals from Shimano for the derailleur, it will outline all the necessary steps to get it setup.
That, it take it to a bike shop.
