here’s my go-to hug for making one Bush of tomato in just 1 hour first wash the tomatoes thoroughly cut the ends off blend everything in the blender until smooth no need to peel or seed pour the tomatoes into a pot and simmer on low until it thickens to the perfect sauce consistency finally I freeze the sauce in Ziploc bags or jar for the future meals

  1. Best way to make sauce is cut thr ends off roma tomatoes, cut in half and boil them till soft. Then put through a tomatoe mill twice. Then all sauce goes back into pot yo boil for 3 hours and add salt. Onoy 3 hours if your using a 60qrt pot. Add basil in the jars when jarring.

  2. Ah tomato, my favorite. Reminds me of an old tomato joke. A Popa tomato and a baby tomato are walking down the side walk and the baby tomato starts to lagging behind. So the Popa tomato steps on the baby tomato, squishing it and Popa tomato says, "Ketchup" (catch up).

  3. Nice , I do the same only I skip cooking it and just bag it up from blender into one cup size freezer bags and freeze them flat so as keep them nice and tidy in freezer .

  5. I just picked a 5 gallon bucket full of Romas out my garden today. Glad I saw this trick. I don’t want them to go to waste. This is something simple I can do during the week after work.

  7. Looks great, but your sauce was a pinky red then at the end a vibrant red! My tom sauces end up the pinky red colour even after adding tomato puree!
