  1. It is intended to keep the pads against the pistons so they don’t rattle and to keep them retracted and clear of the brake disc.

    Tale it out and bend it open a bit and it may not rattle anymore. Mayke sure you know how it holds the pads bc it spreads them apart so they dont ride on your disk . I think you may need to replace your pads if its moving around it could be damaged

  3. Mine begun rattling after pads completely wored out. And then the pad’s base also began to wear out. And then these springs also were half-grinded by the rotor. So, check your pads, probably it is time to replace them.
