bike is 2 years with me I bought it new. Trek Marlin 5 gen 2 ridden every day (rain, sun, mud) worn to the service, but simply scratches happen most when parked next to other bikes or the small stones that the wheel applies when it is driven on a gravel road.

So what’s the question? Are you concerned about dirt and chipped paint? That’s the wrong thing to worry about with mtb’s.
Only tip I can give you to avoid chipped paint on a mountain bike is, don’t ride it. Otherwise this is gonna happen. 2 years of daily use, I’m surprised it’s not more messed up.
