What price are they asking? Don’t think you’ve included that information. They’re very much entry level bikes and do have their merits for getting people going, but I would probably expect them to be about 100-150 second hand, depending on condition.
Most important thing with a second hand bike is to make sure it’s the right size for you.

For a commuter and maybe touring bike I would look for an option with more tire clearance, and full eyelets for racks and mudguards. This one has 28mm tires and I’m not sure that it can fit any bigger, it has a couple eyelets at the dropouts for mudguards but not any upper ones, limiting the types of racks you can fit. I would recommend looking instead a “gravel bike”, “light touring bike” “all-road bike” instead of a pure road design.
