Keano Trooks. He turns up the pressure once again, but everybody’s able to follow the pace of the Belgian at the moment. So, he’s been stuck on the front. No assistance from anybody. They’ve been attacking him. Or in the case of Jin Surf, sitting in the wheel. Zere now he has to let go. So then there were three. Z’s teammate Fanchello, the man in red at the back of the group, still looking okay and holding his own against the two world tour pros in Brooks and Lurf. This is Z. He sees them riding away now and be picked up very shortly by that pace uh chase group who are riding at around 18 seconds behind. And over to Brooks, he is not giving it up. He is giving it absolutely everything to try and go solo. Trying as best he can to ignore Junior Lasserf. Just try and ride him out of the wheel. And even if Lasserf starts looking a little bit ragged, it’s just his style. Absolute pure climber. He’s been able to answer everything so far. And Fellu, well, that is the surprise packet of the day. The man in red. Brilliant ride from him. Keooks. He is not letting up on the pressure, but Junior Lurf is looking calm and controlled. He’s looking like he’s had the instructions to not go past until he can see that finish line. it it’d be almost worth altering kind of knocking the level back and then seeing what happens because he’s not going to get a counter from the the Yukio rider and I don’t think Lucerf is going to come past him or even try to to um make a counterattack. So, it’s it’s almost worthwhile kind of letting your effort go a little bit and uh go back to that group and then see what happens. But you need you need a lot of confidence in your sprint to do that. Yeah. And that’s what I’m not sure that Tano Debuk’s have. I don’t think he has that really intense effort, that sort of explosive effort towards the end to really get rid of them. Junior Lurf for such a slightly built rider. He is really quite rapid at the finish as they go through one kilometer to go. Final kilometer of this 13.4 4 km climb on this 173 km stage. Stage two of the Czech tour. Just three riders left at the front of the race. This will be our top three on GC at the end of the day. Chase Group being distance behind some 20 seconds behind these three. Visma Lisa Bike, Sudal Quickstep. They were the expected teams, the expected riders at the front of the race. The surprise is Felu from team Ukio. And could he not only be a surprise, could he be a shock winner of this stage? Because he got in trouble once, but he’s also been on the attack. Oduk’s pulling him back, but Fanchell has looked rather comfortable over the last couple of kilometers following along. And he is the unknown factor. He might just have enough punch to overcome both Jun the Surf and Keano Duks. Yeah, he did. You know, he’s got he’s proved he’s got that acceleration. He took a good 100 meters out of everybody else about 5 6 km further down the climb. So, hands on the bottom of the bar. He He’s ready for a sprint. If out of Brooks now, it’s it’s really difficult. Is he trying to wind it up from 500 m if it gets slightly steeper or is he cuz he’s stuck on the front and the other two are just kind of waiting to confront him? Yep. He’s just trying to keep his head on a swivel. Make sure he doesn’t get surprised from behind. Aleandro Fanchello already a winner of a stage and the general classification in the Tour of Japan this year. So he’s a man who knows his way to the finish line, knows how to win. And when he won that stage, he he jumped away from a select group with a with a big acceleration. Then 300 meters to go now. And there goes the acceleration up the inside from Junior Lurf. So he goes on the left hand side of Keano to Brooks. Fanchello around the outside of the other Belgian. Junior Lurf into the last corner in front a couple of lengths over Fanchello who’s just not able to get back on terms. Junior Lasserf punches once again goes as hard as he can now round the corner you’ll see the finish as Fello tracking him all the way to the finish and it’s a little bit of a gap to Odbrooks but it’s Junior Lurf he gets the best of the rest takes the victory for Sudal Creeks Fanchello in second in third so following the wheel all the way up Junior Lassurf and when it came to the crunch he had the punch. Yeah, he certainly did. Two from two for Sudal Quickstep. So Luke Lamperti hands over the the yellow jersey to his teammate Junior Lasser. Big Chase coming through. Yep. Big loser. Yeah, Brook’s doing all the damage on the climb, making all the pace, just seemingly not finding the climb actually hard enough in terms of gradient to be able to get rid of everybody else. And then all the work that he did. Well, the one to profit from that was Junior Lasserf. made his move on the left hand side, jumped up the inside, made sure he was first through that final hairpin at around 200 meters to go and powered on all the way to the finish, holding that slight gap over over Fello. Hello.
