I know this has been posted many times, but I’m at a loss. First time I’ve ever had issues with the chain and chainring not meshing well. Both are brand new. KMC says it’s compatible with SRAM Eagle.

Did you buy the chain or chainring on the Internet at a deep discount?
That doesn’t look like a real KMC chain IMO

I have had several KMC chains cause this issue specifically on 12 speed sram rings. Tell the lbs and ask to exchange for Sram
Are these chains freshly waxed?
Does this happen to the chain the whole way around, or only where the quick link is? The chain looks like it’s fitting fine up until the chainlink, then it stands off. Is it a new or re-used chain link?
Try removing 1 chain?
Kmc chains are the problem, absolute dog shit. Shitty slow shift feel and crap like above.
