Looking for my next bike, that I can lease completely for free up to 3k. I have narrowed down the decision to: Cube Nuroad C:62 EX VS Canyon Grizl CF 7
Happy to hear your thoughts on this!
I've been driving a Specialized Diverge Comp E5 (Alu) before, which I was very happy with except for the SRAM Apex Group and the poor brakes.
My focus is on fast, but not super race-orientend riding and the opportunity to go bikepacking for 3-5 nights. So I'm looking for a premium groupset and enough comfort and most importantly a mullet transmission for enough gear ratio on steep climbs.
Pro Canyon: Better cost effectiveness, in-frame storage, premium GRX groupset
Con Canyon: Fiding bikeshops willing to accept and repair an "internet-bike"
Pro Cube: Availability of bikeshops, spare parts
Con Cube: You get a bit less bike for the money compared to Canyon.
SRAM GX Eagle electronic shifting on the Cube VS GRX manual on the Canyon would both be OK for me.

I will always prefer mechanical but that’s cause I’m a bike mechanic and it’s just less of a headache to me. For bike packing mechanical is the better option unless you buy multiple batteries. I think the canyon looks better and if you’re near Munich they have a location there now.
