Such a high percentage of people who came into the shop I used to work at could not seem to figure out lube. It was either bone dry and they didn’t even own lube, they just used wd-40, or they slathered every part that moved in grease.

Obviously “overlubricated”. Looks like they dipped it in crude oil mixed with sand. Maybe shale oil?
