Hi all,

I recently did my first triathlon on a cheap second hand specialized Allez and looking to invest a bit more.

I like something suited to triathlons but also flexible to enjoy riding on the road.

I’m 180cm and would need a test ride to make sure it fits properly.

The details are:

Shimano Ultegra groupset
– 2×11 gears
– Hydraulic disc brakes
– Internal cabling
– Tubeless tyres

Would be interested in any thoughts!

  1. This bike has a riding position that is going to be a hell of a lot more aggressive than what you’re used to. Before you buy, a test ride is a necessity. Most giant stores in the UK will allow this.
If you’re not flexible, susceptible to lower back pain, it may not be the one for you.

The cable routing on this bike is absolutely atrocious. It makes servicing a nightmare. I’d recommend against this bike.

It’s also pretty aggressive if you’re not a seasoned bike rider.
