  1. I’ve got an old Bridgestone mountain bike. It’s super fun to ride on trails, and I would like to take it on more trips with me.

    Unfortunately it handles like a wheelbarrow with rear panniers, so I’d like to try out a more streamlined bikepacking set up. There’s no bottle cage eyelets on the fork, but there are fender mounts.

    I have some anything cages at home, so I’m curious if anyone’s attached cages to this kind of fork. I’m trying to avoid purchasing a front rack.

  2. Bikepacking.com has an article about this. They have suggested a few different options. One being electrical tape, another is hose clamps with old tube pieces to protect paint.
