I had a heavy slam last month at the bike park and landed directly on the front wheel, I’m just wondering if it can be trued or if this is new wheel territory. Any advice is greatly appreciated
Can easily be trued. Just not by me 😂. I suck at wheel trying. Take it to a shop and they will fix it right up

Based on what I’m seeing, I’m pretty sure it can, I can’t see sharp bends anywhere.
Learning to true wheels is a challenge – if you’re interested, you can try to do it yourself, but if you want to get back on the bike fast and without risk, I’d take it to a mechanic known for being a good wheel builder/truer. At the very least, you’d need a spoke key, but truing stands and even spoke tensiometers are used by many.
To elaborate: a beginner wheel builder can end up with a wheel that goes out of true fast regardless of what components are used, whereas a good wheel builder can make a wheel that stays true for long, even if using mediocre components.

Sure it can be trued. Worst case scenario, it’ll need to be bent back into shape physically and then be trued.

Truing will make it better but I think it’s too far out of whack to ever be perfect again.

Give me a joint and half an hour and I’ll have it trued

Probably. The rim would need to be inspected and might not be perfect, but a tension and true could improve it.

How is the rotor still moving soo perfectly dude

Yeah I think this is a situation for the ER, not the therapist
I could be wrong though, not a professional.
That the hook actually leans probably means it’s toast, again not 100%, just an observation

yes. will it be as strong as it was before? no. will it be stronger than it currently is? maybe.

my rear wheel has an ellipse shape. so when i speed up, my rear jumps up and down.

in 30mins. it can be good as new.

Check spoke tensions before, if this is the result of a crash or big impact you could have a flat spot.
But you can certainly get that rim back to good enough, if not like new.

It can definitely be trued its just how long ittl stay trued if there are any major flat spots.

Looks like your spoke tension got out of whack. Ive had it before after a few days of riding hard, second hand wheelset and I needed to retension the whole wheel. After that its been straight as an arrow since.
Spent 3 hours trailside because my spokes were literally loosening on me with some dude’s multitool, he did like 5 laps before I was done 🤣🤣🤣
