Looking at the Specialized Sirrus X 5.0 and the Trek FX Sport SL4. I want a light, all around bike for pavement as well as light trails. Both are $2k.
The sirrus is a new frame design as well as suspension directly under the handle bars (future shock 1.5 it’s called). The trek is a beautiful bike, so is the sirrus. Both are full carbon. I was leaning towards the sirrus due to the future shock and the new frame is supposed to provide some compliance under the seat, but no hard data on that. The trek mainly for its name and gorgeous frame. Both in the color pictured, and either one I can pick up locally.

Spesh. IMO same type of company so just as good of a “name” but that bike is really good. The Sirrus rides really well with that new frame
