Hey everyone, looking at my first gravel bike purchase and need your help!
I found a 2022 Specialized Elite E5 ridden less than 1000 km and upgraded tubeless tires. Everything else is stock and the seller is asking for $1400. Can I get your thoughts? Should I negotiate for $1300?

You can buy a new one for US$1600 or for US$1500 you can buy the new CUES version. I guess it depends, but a few $100 off doesn’t seem like that good of a deal when you consider warranty and whatnot. If some of the stuff comes with it and you think you’ll use the bags and whatnot, maybe it makes more sense. I’d probably start at $1100 and walk away after $1200 maybe if it is truly “almost new”.
(I’m also in a place were a few $100 isn’t a huge deal; if it’s this or no bike, buy it!)
Its a solid bike, if the condition is good i think $1300 is a fair price.
A 2022 for only a few hundred off isn’t a deal at all. I would say $1,000 max. As others have said, I would be buying new for that much.
