24 x 1.75 can I fit 24 x 1.95 tyres?

Hi I’m looking for some advice. My son has been gifted a bike but we mainly go off road trails. We cycle on tarmac only when we get to our off road trails. I was hoping to fit some 1.95 tyres to replace his current ones so they are a bit wider. Below are some pictures of the fork measurement with the current 1.75 tyres on. He also has V brakes currently. Thank you
