I have Canyon white paint to fix the chipped chainstay. Reviewed the Canyon app and it seems all I have to do is clean the surface and paint. Before I do it what else should I do? If anything? Anyone had to do this paint repair?

Nothing. As long as you cleaned the spot, let it dry, then you’re fine.
