As the title suggests, is my tire too close to the frame.
Tires are continental ultra sport iii – 700x 28. I bought the bike with 23mm tires and wanted some juicy tires. Just seems tight?
What do you think, too tight?

Ride it for a while and find out.
I was using a tire that spun freely with seemingly plenty of room (more than what you have here). And then one day I noticed rub marks on both insides of my forks. Turns out that going straight was fine but the tires flexed while going around corners.
I would not be comfortable running it, any wet conditions and you’ll be grinding up your frame
Too tight, high risk.
Try 25s.
