Gravel in Greece is amazing

You’re a wild man riding a bike out there. I’m also a bit jealous.

Went to Greece last year and saw exactly 0 cyclists, it was sad. Easily the most terrifying roads and drivers I’ve ever encountered. It’s a shame because it was beautiful and could have easily been a cycling mecca, but there was no bike rentals, no shoulders, literally could not ride if I wanted to.

I ran into an older gentleman that was traveling Europe and riding famous routes. He had followed the TDF routes that year, rode in Italy, Alps/Pyrenees etc. Greece was the only country he was not riding in due to how bad the roads/drivers were lmao.
