Honestly I would dismount, and cross as a pedestrian. Not worth mixing with cars in an intersection like this.

I’ve read about turning left on a bike at big intersections like this. The best recommendations are to ride straight up from the red, and then turn left at the other cross walk. You could also go left at the red, and then go up to the blue. Basically, just follow the intersections to get across, don’t turn across the center of the intersection like a car would.

From the red circle, on Park ave. pass the intersection to the bike path on the right (perpendicular street) , when the light switches, continue on the blue circle.

I’d bike up to the light and turn into the crosswalk (making sure it’s free of pedestrians) and wait at that corner for the light to change, then walk or bike across to the next bike lane.

  5. I would avoid the intersection altogether. I would look for a side street, parking lot, or something else that would allow me to shortcut and avoid busy intersections.
