  1. Just take them out and clean out the junk if you haven’t already. If you have done that make sure that you did not over tighten the screw. Otherwise, yeah get new ones.

    Edit:
These likely do not have bearings by the way, a lot of them just ride on bushings and they are not particularly well sealed off from the ingress of gunk.

  2. Depending on your derailleur, many jockey wheels just have bushings. They’re easy to disassemble and inspect.

Flush out and re-lube, then reassemble and see.

  3. Steps:
Disassemble both jockey wheels from cage.
    Clean all parts with degreaser.
    Reassemble but don’t overtighten.
    GT-85 each bearing

    Notes:
Bear in mind each jockey wheel has a specific position, centuro in the middle, g-pulley on the end

  4. Those have plain bearings which don’t really/often wear out, just needs a good old clean I’m afraid. Then a bit of grease on the bearing surfaces. Clean with a degreaser, white (mineral) spirit and then soapy water and lots of patience!

The teeth look ok so I’d start by taking them out cleaning and if they have bearings re-greasing them.

After that if they still rotate poorly then I’d look at replacing them.
