But today, guys, we are not Cambridge Delivers. We are Milton Kees Delivers. Oh, it’s going to be windy. Wo! Let’s go. And we are not delivering on our normal Uber Eats, guys. We have been accepted into Deliveroo. It took me 4 months to be accepted. And I got the email like two days ago and then I brought the gear and then here we are. We got the bag. We’re good. I’m just currently biking into the center area of Milton Kes. You guys don’t know Milton Kees. Milton Kees is very famous for its roundabouts and its concrete cows. You may be thinking, I thought you were from Cambridge. No, I’m from Milton Kees. I’ve only lived in Cambridge 6 months. Didn’t know that, did you? Mil Keys is very green though. There’s lots of lakes and it’s very pretty. Hopefully we can see a bunch of it today. Goals today, guys. I kind of just want to understand Deliveroo. I don’t want to really make too many goals cuz I don’t even know what I’m doing on the app when I get there. There’s a dog. Like I’ve seen the video tutorials, but like I watched those about four or five months ago, so I can’t actually remember, but I assume it’s similar to uh Ubies, isn’t it? You just turn up, pick up the order, tap in maybe like it’s the same sort of thing, isn’t it? We’ll wing it. We’ll do well hopefully. But yeah, guys, I’m just going to bike into the center of Milton Keen area. We’ll just go online now. See what happens. Milk Ke is quite big, you know. There’s like three different areas of Mil Keen whereas Cambridge there’s only one. I love Mil Keen. We’re going to go online on deliveroo guys for the first time ever right now. Kind of nervous, bro. I don’t know what to do. I just want to see like what the pay is. Is it a lot different? Is it the same? Like I want to find out what the what the vibe of it is. You know what I mean? My ebike goes 20 mph, not 15.5. funny joking. It goes 25 miles per hour. Okay, guys. All right, we’re currently in the busiest zone on Deliveroo in Milton Kees. This area and there’s a few other areas over there. There’s loads of stuff around here. So, hopefully something comes in. In Milton Kees, we operate a redway system in which bicycles, cars, cars in which bicycles can go on redways, cars, and there’s so many roundabouts and underpasses in Milton Kees that honestly that’s that’s all the Milton Kees is known for. The concrete cows, which is apparently like the most famous thing in Milton Kees. I’ve lived here 28 years. Haven’t once been to the concrete cows. Never know where that is or what that is. I’d say the most beautiful thing about Milton Kees is the lakes. The legs 100%. Never mind the concrete bloody cows. And also the shopping center is beasty. I don’t need I don’t even need the map anymore. I know exactly where I am. I’m going the wrong way. This is kind of like Milton Kees here. Like all of these buildings in the center with no cars and it’s not busy at all. Bro, milk my jeans. Take you sainsburries over there, guys. You know, send me to sainsburries with Deliveroo. That would be a pleasure. Milk Key is a very cycle friendly place. Oh my god. No way. sainsburries. Accept and go.6 £660. Wow. How do I accept? Accept and go. Okay. Travel 300 meters to collect. I do love a sainsburries, but not like this. Come on. Probably should ask for another bag for that one that’s half bagged. But you know, it’s fine. Okay, we need to cross the road. Milton Ke and we’re delivering the deliver way. Hopefully the first order will be easy. Otherwise, Ryan will be angry at whatever he sees. It’s Cambridge delivered. We got about 4 minutes until we’re there now. But it’s paying really good. 660, guys. At the moment, this is taking hypothetically this would take about 17 18 minutes, right? It’s paying £660. That is beyond beyond. It’s like a 2 three mile bike. £660. That is way way beyond Uber Eats already. That’s like double almost. Like normally that would be about uh I don’t know £340 or 700 rupees.£4 pounder. £660 is so good. If I had a motor bike, I’d be raking it in. Where do I lock up my bike? Can I even get in? What the hell is happening here, dude? Uber Eats um app is a lot more user friendly. I don’t really know what the hell is going on half the time of this. But it is my first day using it. But how the hell am I going to get in here? I don’t What is going on? That is parkour. Let’s find this dude. Perfect. That seems kind of sturdy. I have arrived. The door is open. All right, let’s go back to the restauranty area. See if we can pick up one more. Quick impressions of the Deliveroo app. I don’t like it that you can’t click on things and navigate there. That’s such a good feature on Uber Eats. Every time I click on somewhere, unless you can. I don’t know. But every time I click on somewhere, it just brings up the the the the shaded squares. I don’t really want to see them. Or pentagons, hexagons, whatever. It’s I’ve only done one order, so it’s early days yet. Oh, I’ve got another one. Delicious kebab. £2.90. I feel like the first shift that you do with a delivery app, like you have to get used to like I’ve been delivering with Uber Eats for a while now and and I’ve become pretty proficient like getting 20 an hour and stuff like that, even more than that. But you have to get used to the app. I don’t know any of the interfaces. Don’t know anything about it. It’s the first time I’ve ever used it. Uh but so far, I mean, I’m not going to lie, it’s been really it’s been really good. So, it’s been about an hour and a half and I’ve done about what am I on? Like £10. I’m on £950 in two orders. Like, and they were really easy orders. Like, that one was literally 5 minutes just then. And the sainsburries one would have been easy if I knew what I was bloody doing. The flat delayed me by 20 minutes. It was really funny. But like so far though, I’m I’m impressed with Deliveroo. Like it’s really easy. I can take this moment, guys, and give a couple of shout out. I know people are going to say you should have watched the tutorial videos, and you’re bloody right. You don’t apply for a job and know what you’re doing at that job. You learn on the job. So, that’s what we’re doing. Now, this is the shopping center. By the way, a lot of people come from different cities just to come to this shopping center cuz it’s so massive. Like, it’s huge. I guess we’re just chilling around here, guys. I’m not sure. We’re in a super busy zone. This dude’s probably Deliveroo. I mean, if you had a motorbike, guys, I’m not going to lie. You probably earn some good money doing this, right? Can anyone explain how the the boost system works on this, guys? Like, what’s all of this stuff? Upcoming fee boosts. What is all of this stuff? Midnight to 1:00 a.m. 1:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. Does that mean you literally get paid like 1.2 extra on each order? The £660 one I had earlier would have paid like £720 or something. 7 I don’t even know. More than that, like almost £8. There’s literally hundreds of food places in this place. Like, uh maybe Uber Eats is the super busy one, but it just doesn’t pay as much. And then Deliveroo is like strong pay, but but they don’t offer you orders all the time. It’s probably a good shout to use a combination of the two. I would I would assume, right? For about 19 years of my life, guys, before I got a car, I would come here with my friends to the city center. This bus route right here. I’m going as if I’m a bus. And then we would go up here and get dropped off right here for literally about 17 years. Dude, so nostalgic biking around Mil. We got the escape building over there, which is a huge building with like there’s like a cinema and a a ski slope and so much stuff. And we got a McDonald’s. I mean, you got to do a McDonald’s, right, guys? Let’s just accept it. Let’s do it. What McDonald’s is it? I’m curious. This is paying £2.90 you get. Is that the Is there a minimum on delivery? Oh, I’m picking up from the escape building. No way. I don’t even need the map, bro. I know exactly where I’m going. Been living here for years. I know there’s bike locks down here somewhere. Wow. I’ve had plenty of trouble with bloody McDonald’s. Okay, 2 minutes away. Let’s drop this off. Let’s do the bag up. Okay, guys. I’m a fan of this app. I’m liking it. I’m liking it more and more. Each delivery, it’s super easy. Uh it’s just I mean, to be fair, it’s as easy as it is on uh Why the hell did I go this route? Why am I following the map? I was literally there. I could just go that way. Map is slowing me down so much. I’m delivering to those flats there, though. All right. Is there any instructions? All right, back on to delivery. We’ll be talking. I think I’ve arrived. Ah, cute dogs. Okay, I wasn’t recording, but they’re the customers over there. Put my kickstand up. I just dropped it off and I said uh I said, “Didn’t fancy walking over then, guys, cuz McDonald’s was literally 1 minute there.” And they were like, “No, we were we were okay, thanks.” Okay, another order complete. That’s cool. Again, it was super easy on the app. I just asked for the two-digit code. And she was like, “Yeah, 23.” And I just 23ed it easy. Don’t really know what else to say, guys. It’s kind of the same as Uber Eats, but it just seems to pay a lot more, which is I’m not complaining at all. It’s really good. and we’re on about 12 pound40. So, I haven’t been earning the most money possible. I’ve only done three orders in that amount of time. Uh, but I did spend a lot of time biking in and I just kind of just wanted to do a quick test of the app just to see how it is. That is so cool. I really like it.
