700c Aluminum frame no deformities, no cracks and only surface rust with 40mm tires I got free. Crankset will be changed later with a single gear 38t when the bike gods put one in front of me and I’ll keep the 7 speed freewheel on the back. Found the saddle in a discount bin and changed it for comfort until I find a better one. BB was in good shape and I cleaned up down there re-lubed and replaced.
Goal of this current build is to keep it cheap and try some new things. I wanted to put drops on it to give it a gravel style but I’m liking the bmx look and I don’t want to mess with v brakes and drop bars.
