Hey there, a few months ago I got into cycling again, I bought a second hand "hybrid" bike which is using 700x38c tires – Giant Roam 1 2020.
After riding 350-400km, I realized that I much more enjoy mountain riding rather than city/road biking.
Do you think that's a good idea as I don't want to get new rims/new bike and what's something, apart from frame cleanence, to be careful about. Thanks in advance 🙂

In terms of wheel size 29″=28″=700C=622.
It’s all the sime outer diameter and tyres fit interchangably, apart from really obvious width differences. You don’t want to put 2.6″ tyres on road wheels with 17mm inner width.
But you can just swap 29″ tyres on your 700c wheels. If you are not sure about the clearance, get some used tyres first on the cheap and try them out.
