Just got my gline, very impressed with it so far but the frame hinge does not screw all the way in and doesn’t look like it’s clamping in correctly and attached to the frame.
I have never owned a brompton so this might be normal when it’s unfolded and normal for this on a gline clamp to look like this
just wanted to eye if other gline owners are like this or they can screw the bracket all the way in?
cheers all

There should be a gap, when there is no gap the hinge clamps need replacing as they are a wear item. Yours however don’t look parallel which is a little odd, hoping someone else with a G line can chime in as it looks a little skewed.
The pinching part stretches out over time. That’s why there’s a gap. When it bottoms out you need to replace it.
it is designed like this; on my 2021 H6R equivalent to “C Line” the paint on the contact points got worn down, and the Black alum channel is tapered and gapped so it can still tighten when the paint is gone.
