traveling and visiting new countries is an incredible privilege and one which I’m extremely grateful for however the truth is not all the countries you visit you’ll have a positive experience in and our experience in marsill was not a particularly positive one as two female Travelers we felt very unsafe we were harassed throughout our entire trip no matter the time of day we had men cat calling whistling beeping their horns we even had a group of boys shining a laser light in our eyes I have experienced this type of harassment at home in the UK as well but absolutely nowhere near the level that we did in Mars thankfully we weren’t in marsay for very long but it did spoil our trip which is a real shame because the sunset was amazing

I've had that insane cat calling experience while traveling in Rome and again in istanbul. Just walk fast and pretend you dont see or hear them, thats all.

I find the infatuation with travel 🧳 interesting seems to be a growing thing as many dating profiles say must enjoy travel. As a guy I have never wanted to travel. Honestly i have only been to a few states in the US. Maybe 3 or 4 tops. Perhaps its cause I don't do planes. Never been on a plane either. Sorry you were harassed thats terrible. 🙏
It's called the french Capital of Islam for a reason. Didn't they tell you women aren't allowed to walk on streets in muslim countries? As a woman who escaped her muslim country I'd forever avoid western europe cities for the same good reason
