First NBD in over 15 years

Hey guys, just picked up my bike from the shop over the weekend and thought I’d share some pictures. I used to be big into riding road back in Lance’s heyday and had ridden mountain bikes since I was a little kid. Life got in the way and I haven’t ridden in so long but I’ve always wanted to get back into it. I’ve been sober for over 8 months and I decided that I would treat myself to a more healthier (although more expensive haha) hobby that I had always loved. I bought this Trek XCaliber back in January and I’ve slowly swapped components and built it up to this spec- 2023 Trek XCaliber 8 Full Shimano XT 8100 group with 8120 calipers 9100 XTR Chain Race Face Next SL bars ESI Chunky Grips Race Face Turbine Stem Fox 34 Factory Step Cast Fork Fox Transfer SL Dropper Post and Lever Ergon SM Pro Saddle Race Face Next SL Crankset and BB Race Face Atlas Pedals The only thing stock is the Bontrager Kovee Wheelset and Maxxis Ardent Race Tires
