I live in an area with tons of great trails within a few hour drive. People even travel here to ride. But every time I come back from BC, I'm just a little bummed. Because the quantity and quality of trails around here, despite being described by many as "world class," simply can't compare to BC.
So that's why BC sucks. It makes me pine for its trails every time I come back home. Can't wait to get back.
For example, early season TOTW a few weekends back was pretty damn good:
The sad reality is, British Columbia sucks.

Fortunate enough to kive in bham so i get a fair amount of great rides.
I spent a week at Whistler last year and rode TotW twice. To take a rest day, I went to Whistler golf course where I could see the lookout I was standing on the day before.
Whistler is beyond epic. And yeah, it sucks. For the reasons you listed.
It’s no Bentonville.
